
S.C. Military Veterans Hall of Fame inductee dinner, held June 6, 2026, was a huge success. The S.C. Military Veterans Hall of Fame hosted over 380 guests including inductees from the classes of 2025 and 2026, their families and friends, supporters and sponsors of the Hall of Fame, and a host of senior military leaders to include Maj. Gen. and Mrs. James E. Livingston (Maj. Gen. Livingston is an inductee in the Medal of Honor Class). Please see links below to post-event stories.

Mission Statement
The State of South Carolina Military Veterans Hall of Fame (SCMVHOF) exists to honor and preserve the legacy of South Carolina’s military veterans whose service and sacrifice exemplify valor, dedication, and selfless commitment to the United States of America, our state, and their communities.
Eligibility for nomination requires the nominee to meet the United States Department of Veterans Affairs’ definition of a United States veteran, as defined by federal law, and to have been honorably discharged from uniformed service to the United States of America and or the state of South Carolina.

Vision Statement
The SCMVHOF envisions a future where the valor, service, and sacrifice of South Carolina’s veterans are permanently enshrined in the hearts of its citizens. By preserving their stories and celebrating their contributions, we aim to inspire a culture of patriotism, civic responsibility, and unwavering support for those who served, are serving and will serve our nation. SCMVHOF will stand as a beacon of honor, ensuring that every generation understands the true cost of freedom and the enduring legacy of our veterans.
